A tradesman and a technologist.
Mend FM was started in 2026 by John, a working handyman, and Shane, who builds the software that runs it. The idea is simple: the reliability of a good local tradesman, with the systems of a large facilities firm.
Why "Mend"
Broken, replaced, made whole.
Our mark is a roofline M with a fitted amber piece at its heart: the repair. It's what we do every day, and the standard we hold ourselves to: fix it properly the first time and show you that we did.
How we're different
- Your price in writing before anyone turns up
- Response times written into every agreement
- Photo proof on every job, without asking
- Our own technology, so we're quicker and cheaper to run than the big FM firms
- Local trades who know the area and care about their name on the job
OPERATIONSJohn
Runs the trades: site lead, condition surveys, quality sign-off, and the person you speak to if anything isn't right.
PLATFORMShane
Runs Mend Desk, pricing and client accounts: the systems that make sure nothing is missed.
